Biography
Dr. Parisa Bahmani was a respected surgeon from Zanjan who studied in France and Canada, yet chose to return and serve her people in Iran. Known for her compassionate nature, she dedicated her expertise to helping others. On October 26, 2022, during a doctors' protest in Tehran, she was shot by security forces and died two days later, on October 28, 2022.
دکتر پریسا بهمنی جراحی محترم اهل زنجان بود که در فرانسه و کانادا تحصیل کرده بود، اما تصمیم گرفت به ایران بازگردد و به مردم خود خدمت کند. او که به خاطر دلسوزیاش شناخته میشد، تخصص خود را وقف کمک به دیگران کرد. در تاریخ ۴ آبان ۱۴۰۱ (۲۶ اکتبر ۲۰۲۲)، در جریان اعتراضات پزشکان در تهران، توسط نیروهای امنیتی هدف گلوله قرار گرفت و دو روز بعد، در ۶ آبان ۱۴۰۱ (۲۸ اکتبر ۲۰۲۲) جان باخت.
